DEKRA Claims and Expert Services International was founded in 2001 with its Head Office based in Brussels. It encompasses the claims settlement groups, BIRS-ISB, Juan A. Calzado and the former German company ASA (actually named DEKRA Claims Services GmbH), and boasts many years of experience in international claims adjusting. DEKRA Claims Services is owned by DEKRA Automotive International, a business unit of DEKRA SE and has its headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany.   

The Group operates with its own offices in 17 countries and in a further 22 countries, through its partner network. In addition to this, we have access to worldwide engineering and inspection services via our Holding Company, DEKRA SE. DEKRA Claims and Expert Services International counts more than 300 insurers as its clients - among which international and market leader companies. It settles over 400.000 new cases a year and employs more than 750 specialists. In 2010 our Group achieved a turnover of 70,5 mill Euro. 

We are constantly striving to adapt to and to develop all present and future needs of our clients in a competitive, price sensitive and globally growing insurance market. Since the beginning of the millennium, our Group has undergone significant geographic expansion, in opening up new branches, especially in Eastern Europe. The Group is constantly endeavouring to develop new solutions to achieve excellent and uniform European-wide performance for our clients.
